Ashlie, a senior at Paint Branch High School, Montgomery County, Maryland was accepted to Salisbury University, her first choice for undergraduate school because of her research interest in the areas Physiology. She is interested in the pre-health professional track, and after undergrad she plans on going to graduate school to become a Physician’s Assistant.

Here is a letter from her parents after working with HELP:

Hey Ed,

We followed your blueprint for Ashlie’s first school choice, Salisbury University, Eastern Shore, Maryland. She walked away from the visit with a verbal acceptance. The research advice and pre-planning guidance you provided were key. The school was blown away with the approach we took. The department chair responded immediately when Ashlie sent the request to meet with him. When she showed up at the meeting he was very impressed. So much so that he, not the TA took Ashlie on a tour of the science facility.

I want to thank you for everything you did. We felt like we were informed parents and we thought we had a good plan in-place for getting Ashlie into school. From the first meeting, to the email responses, document reviews, the reference material provided, ongoing guidance and follow up, you were a great resource. You have a great program. It is well planned out and easy to execute. Clearly your program is about the business of getting kids into school. Count on us to spread the word. If you ever need a reference, you know who to contact.

Dwayne, Deloris, Ashlie
