Higher Education & Learning Professional Consulting, Inc. HELP is a federally recognized non-profit, started in 2011. While HELP originally started out as an educational non-profit focused on college and career readiness from middle school through PhD, we have grown since our humble beginning.
While still a non-profit, HELP's focus now is the design and delivery of intentional, high impact, data rich, evidence-based, return on investment highlighted programming solutions. The following are our three primary areas of concentration: College and Career Readiness, Social Justice, and Program/Grant Consulting.

Proctored Live-Online Test Dates:
June- 3, 5, 10, 12, 18, 25

(All test and tutor times are login 9:30, room locked at 9:45, and start time 10 AM Eastern Standard Time)
Online In-Person Tutoring Dates: June 22 & 23 July 27 & 28
Parent Q&A Meetings: May 21, June 19 & July 15 at 7:30 PM EST
After their 1st Practice Test:
Students will be provided HELP’s ACT self-study test prep review curriculum to practice between test dates that include an individual study guide based on students’ diagnostic results, 6 full practice tests, and over 1,900 practice questions
Tutoring?
2 Live-Online ACT Tutoring Sessions are provided by a certified ACT instructor (June & July) to review test techniques, strategies, and students' most missed type of questions (Sessions will be taped for download and home review
Scores that students need to be shooting for?
ACT – Math score of 22 and combined English & Reading Score of 40 (58%): Indicates your child is college ready, and allows them to bypass college placement tests (TSIA & Accuplacer) and subsequently remedial classes
ACT – Composite score of 26 (72%): This is where most college merit-based scholarships start
What will students and parents receive at the end of the workshops?
At the end of the camp parents will be emailed a report that highlights their students predicted composite scores and individual area test scores across all 4 subject areas for each test they have taken
Does HELP provide additional assistance beyond this summer's workshops?
Yes. At the end of the summer, parents can sign their students up for our fall prep program.
Live-Online Workshop Dates
During registration, students will submit 3-4 dates that they have an open 2-hour window and HELP will try and accommodate a workshop during one of the times
If HELP is not free, they will email the student and parent to select more available times

Students can select workshop times:
Monday – Sunday 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST
Attention:
Students DO NOT need to look at the Common App essay prompts or write anything before the workshop
HELP will not review essays written in scholars' high school English classes or previously written essays
It's better when students come to the workshop open-minded to HELP's patented essay-writing process
Essay Workshop Agenda & Flow:
After registration scholars will receive a homework packet to complete to be ready to write their essay drafts during the workshop
The homework packet can be completed within 1-2 hours
In the workshop, students will frame up their essays and leave with drafts to complete at home, if they are not complete during the workshop (Note: Essays are limited to 650 words)
Students are encouraged to email HELP completed essay drafts, in Word format, within 7 days of their workshop date
HELP will edit and return essays within 4 days
Scholars must run essays through Grammarly or equivalent
software to correct grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation inaccuracies, before emailing back to HELP.
